Business Development Manager, Technology Partners

The Business Development Manager, Technology Integration Partners is responsible for proactively finding, developing and managing relationships with key strategic technology integration partners within the Americas. The Business Development Manager will utilize a high-level of business acumen to develop strategic account plans in collaboration with partners & global counterparts, enable the Axis sales organization, and measure the impact of these account engagements on the Americas business.

This role is key in developing commercialized digital technology partner relationships across Axis' various integration platforms, these include; device management, IT infrastructure, unified communications and Axis' cloud platform services. This role is based in our Chelmsford, MA Americas headquarters.

What You'll Do Here As BDM, TIP?

Proactively find, own and develop defined strategic accounts to drive the expansion of the Axis technology partner ecosystem and serve as main point of contact for these partnerships

Develop and execute robust and strategic account plans, programs, KPIs, goals & milestones through field engagement and collaboration with both global counterparts and technology partner stakeholders

Work closely with technology partners to identify new markets, business opportunities, collaborate on joint sales & marketing efforts, and drive revenue growth through the channel

Build & maintain strong relationships and communication with technology partner stakeholders, address concerns, and work to strengthen the partnership

Influence global counterparts and work closely with the Marketing team to promote technology partner solutions

Coordinate with Regional, End Customer, Segments, and Distribution sales leadership teams to enable successful partner engagement

Research, evaluate and document possible technology partner solutions to compliment Axis' strategic, high growth solution areas

Participate in executive level strategy meetings with assigned technology partners

Provide feedback on the long-term technology partner program vision and developer experience

Event attendance; serve as a spokesperson, thought leader and subject matter expert for technology partner industry related news, announcements, and activities

Develop and maintain competitive intelligence materials that showcase the value proposition of integrating Axis technologies with technology partner solutions

Regularly measure & report on the success and performance of assigned accounts, initiatives and programs

Who Are We Looking For / Who Are You?

Strong, proactive partner management skills; strategic vision, building account plans, shared goals & KPIs, and showcasing measurable impact to business

Security and / or IT industry commercialization, technical and product knowledge

Proven ability to build collaborative, trusted relationships at all levels of an organization

Self-motivated, accountable, with the ability to influence without direct authority

Ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of an organization

Demonstrate resiliency, a driver of change, and flexibility

Consistent in follow up and execution, with strong time management and organizational skills

We'd Love To Hear That You Have / Are :

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field

A minimum of 5+ years' experience in business development or similar related experience

Valued But Not Required Skills Or Experience

Sales experience

Salesforce experience

Microsoft 365 experience

Axis Certified Professional; qualified candidates to have an opportunity to achieve this certification

Industry accreditations such Cisco CCNA, BICSI RCCD, Microsoft MCP, or related

Expected travel up to 50% including international travel

Pay Range :

The approximate pay range for this location and position is $130,000 - 140,000 OTE . Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as physical work location within the state.
