What You'll Do : Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate. Conduct screening of individuals entering the location to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following protocols established for the government facility. Observe and report suspicious activities and / or persons, documenting findings according to Allied Universal protocols. Communicate with visitors and employees in a professional manner, providing information as needed and directing them appropriately. Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry points of the government location. Work collaboratively with site personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns. Maintain a visible presence at entry points to help to deter potential disruptions and promote a secure atmosphere within the government facility.

Minimum Requirements : A valid guard card or security license is preferred. Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
