Practice Manager I Primary Care

Baptist Health Medical Group is seeking a Practice Manager I for the Primary Care Campbellsburg / LaGrange area. This is a full-time position. The Practice Manager I will be responsible for the daily operations and supervision of the practice, including objective measures in a balanced scorecard approach. They will schedule physician and staff personnel and manage leave requests. The Practice Manager will make recommendations regarding equipment and supplies needed to maintain efficient operations, order supplies and equipment as needed, prepare and submit an annual budget, and work with Marketing and Public Relations as needed to enhance the public image of the clinic.

The Practice Manager will establish and maintain an efficient and responsive patient flow system, establish and maintain positive working relationships with patients, visitors, physicians, employees, and coworkers, and serve as the facility's representative to the business community and public at large. They will plan new programs to be developed within the office, research and isolate opportunities, and develop plans for Director review to market new or existing services the facilities may offer. The Practice Manager will also be responsible for daily balancing and bank depositing and invoice processing, conduct periodic audits of charts, policies, and procedures, and be responsible for interviewing, hiring, orientation, development, and evaluation of employees.

Minimum education, training, and experience required include a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent leadership, analytical, and project management skills are required, as demonstrated by the ability to manage personnel and technical issues and the knowledge of financial analysis tools and PC skills. The Practice Manager must have an in-depth knowledge of the payor environment, patient service delivery systems, and federal / state rules and regulations regarding billing processes.
