Job Description
Job Description
A day in the life at Haws
You start your morning by reviewing MRP outputs and Workbench signals, translating demand across production, aftermarket, and engineering into clear supply actions. You place and follow up on purchase orders, confirm supplier commits, and publish clear-to-build and material coverage statuses. Before lunch, you’ve reconciled delivery schedules, resolved a constraint with a key supplier, and identified Workbench order material cost savings. Your afternoon is about scenario modeling—what-if runs on run-outs and engineering changes—while coaching suppliers through ramp plans for an upcoming product launch. You end the day consolidating shipments for freight savings and updating open PO priorities for the team.

- Maintain shortage reporting for high-priority sales orders; align with Customer Service / Production Planning and direct buyers on priorities.
- Oversee the open PO report, re-prioritizing by top models and driving follow-ups with buyers.
- Develop and maintain a forward-looking tool to anticipate part shortages.
