Qualifications :
QMHP or qualified mental health professional-community services ~ A staff member who is credentialed as a QMHP-CS who has demonstrated and documented competency in the work to be performed and has :
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum number of hours that is equivalent to a major in psychology, social work, medicine, nursing, rehabilitation, counseling, sociology, human growth and development, physician assistant, gerontology, special education, educational psychology, early childhood education, or early childhood intervention.
General Responsibilities : The workers is responsible for providing medical necessary services to the client in accordance with the treatment plan that is designed to meet the mental health, educational, vocational, residential, financial, social and other needs of the consumer.
Travel to client location (home, school, office or community setting) and provide structured face-to-face scheduled sessions to client based on the treatment plansEnsure that the majority of mental health services are primarily rendered in the community and ensure that limited services remain clinic based.Maintain a client caseload of 2 to 10 clientsAttend supervision, training, and job shadowing sessionsServe as an intricate member of the SP team to ensure continuity of care and supports the services 24 hours a day, seven days per week as necessaryWork collaboratively with and provide ongoing updates to the clinical team including psychiatrist as neededCompletes and attest to completion of all mandatory training as identified in TRRDocumentation completed within 48 hours of service.Ability to work efficiently and effectively both individually and as part of a teamAbility to appropriately accept feedback through the supervision process - thus displaying the willingness to learn, grow, and improveSubmit notes and reports timely (clinical notes, service log, mileage tracker, etc.)Well organized and adaptableDemonstrates good insight and judgmentEffective conflict resolution skillsProvide skill building and case management services to clientsEffective oral and written communication skillsAbility to work with children and family to deliver skills through approved curriculumAbility to support the agency's culture, growth, and success through communication, accountability, and positiveBenefits
