General Summary :

This position is responsible for managing the execution of enterprise 3rd party platform and enrollment solutions strategy in support of annual sales, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction goals. The incumbent will work in close partnership with external and internal business partners, sales representatives, external producers, and technology vendors. Additional responsibilities include developing and driving various business projects, data management and analysis, escalated field support, and preparing and delivering presentations to internal and external audiences.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for implementing and managing third-party platforms and enrollment systems, including developing and directing implementation of integration with those partners

Drive proactive efforts to ensure third party connections are live, stable, and create an excellent consumer experience

Act with a sense of urgency in preventing, identifying, and correcting partner level technology escalations or breaks

Provides creative technical solutions for system-level implementation challenges by maintaining a strong technical acumen of organization's enrollment solutions

Maintains understanding of partner system functionality and set up as it relates to our organization's benefit offering and connected technology

Work effectively / collaboratively with other functional partners on various projects, business needs, and content for internal / external communications and business presentations

Consult with our field organization to create expertise and knowledge of our third-party platform technology offerings and product solutions

Tracking and reporting enterprise metrics of third-party platform technology in coordination with each business unit

Provides and maintains clear internal and external documentation and resources for effective field communication for awareness and ease of implementation.

Partner with Partner Relationship Directors to ensure visibility on Strategic Partner activities

Manage licensing and invoicing for select platforms, as needed

Assist with relevant internal system testing

May perform other duties as assigned

Job Specifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent required

5+ years' experience in the employee benefits industry

Strong understanding of Unum / Colonial Life's business, including enrollment platform, products, services, processes, sales process, and field organization Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; excellent attention to detail

Very strong problem-solving and analytical skills; advanced technical proficiencies

Strong presentation and communication skills

Ability to drive results through strong business partnerships

Strong project management skills

Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, short turnaround times and ambiguity

Ability to proactively recommend ideas and execute appropriately

Ability to track and pursue multiple, concurrent issues, with timely escalation and detailed documentation to support recommended actions

Solid working knowledge of enterprise product offerings, processes, supporting systems, and go to market strategies is preferred

Ability to work with all levels of management

Miscellaneous travel may be required

The base salary range for applicants for this position is listed below. Unless actual salary is indicated above in the job description, actual pay will be based on skill, geographical location and experience.

$63,500.00-$120,000.00

Additionally, Unum offers a portfolio of benefits and rewards that are competitive and comprehensive including healthcare benefits (health, vision, dental), insurance benefits (short & long-term disability), performance-based incentive plans, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement plan with an employer match up to 5% and an additional 4.5% contribution whether you contribute to the plan or not. All benefits are subject to the terms and conditions of individual Plans.
