Medical Assistant - Los Angeles, CA

Overview

  • Facility Setting : Outpatient Clinic
  • Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (07 : 30 - 18 : 30)

Requirements

  • License : Certification from an accredited school (Compact : No)
  • Certs : BLS (AHA or ARC), Flu Vaccination Required
  • Experience : 2+ years preferred
  • EMR : Epic
  • Compliance : Autoclave experience required, outpatient experience required
  • Locals : Accepted unless otherwise stated
  • RTO Policy : RTO must be 7 days or less

    • Responsibilities

  • Inspects and assembles instrument trays, using content lists and Manufactures Instruction for Use (IFU) documents as a guide and readiness for sterilization.
  • Disassembles and cleans instrumentation and equipment. Reassembles instrumentation and tests for proper functioning.
  • Submits incomplete instrument list if replacement instruments are needed, missing from tray, or damaged.
  • Maintains assigned work area in a clean and organized condition to maintain required standards for handling sterilized and clean materials.
