Digital Wave is headquartered in Florida with satellite offices in India and Europe. This position is U.S. based and remote.
Essential Requirements
- 5-8+ years of experience with Product Information Management (PIM), Master Data Management (MDM), or related enterprise data management solutions in retail, consumer goods, or healthcare industries.
- 5-7 years' professional experience as a product manager in software, ideally with direct exposure to enterprise SaaS or AI-driven data management platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
- Deep expertise in PIM / MDM concepts including data governance frameworks, data quality management, master data modeling, taxonomy design, and data lineage.
- Hands-on experience with leading PIM / MDM platforms such as Informatica, Salsify, inRiver, Akeneo, Stibo, Syndigo, or similar enterprise solutions.
- Strong understanding of product data syndication to digital channels, marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart, etc.), retailer portals, and eCommerce platforms.
- Proven track record delivering and scaling SaaS solutions from conception through launch, ideally in dynamic, late-stage startup environments.
- Experience with data integration strategies including API connectivity, ETL / ELT processes, and integration with ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics), eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Magento), and CRM systems.
- Knowledge of product lifecycle management, feature specification, roadmapping, and backlog prioritization to deliver rapid, high-impact solutions.
- Understanding of data governance best practices, including data stewardship workflows, compliance requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS), and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders; demonstrated ability to synthesize complex data management and PIM / PXM concepts for diverse audiences.
- Experience working remotely with distributed, cross-functional teams (R&D, data science, professional services, and sales).
- Demonstrated proficiency in user needs assessment, market research, and competitive analysis in technology markets, especially in retail, healthcare, CPG, etc.
- analytical skills with experience in data quality metrics, KPI definition, data completeness measurement, and operational reporting.
- Passion for Native AI platforms and their application to rapid solution development (e.g., AI-driven data enrichment, intelligent automation, low / no-code solutions).
- Familiarity with lean software development methodologies; prioritizing requirements and iterative product releases.
- Proficiency with using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Perplexity) to support efficiency and productivity within your role is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience delivering PIM, PXM, MDM, or product master data management (PMDM) solutions for omni-channel environments spanning retail, healthcare, or CPG sectors is highly desirable.Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and integration strategies between PLM, PIM, and MDM platforms.Hands-on exposure to Digital Asset Management (DAM), content syndication platforms, and data pool integration (GS1, GDSN).Experience with multi-domain MDM covering customer, product, supplier, and location data domains.Understanding of data classification, taxonomy management, and metadata frameworks for product hierarchies and attribute management.Knowledge of workflow automation, business process modeling (BPM), and data stewardship tools.Familiarity with AI-powered product data enrichment, attribute extraction, image recognition / tagging, and automated data validation techniques.Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern integration architectures (API-first design, iPaaS platforms, microservices).Understanding of change management models (ADKAR, Kotter's 8-Step) and ability to drive organizational adoption of data management solutions.Knowledge of retail technology ecosystems including point-of-sale systems, inventory management, allocation systems, and merchandising platforms.Key Responsibilities
Develop, manage, and evolve the product vision, roadmap, and release timelines for PIM and MDM solutions within Digital Wave Technology's AI-native platform.Own the strategy for product information management and master data governance capabilities that enable omnichannel product journeys for retail, healthcare, and CPG clients.Collaborate closely with technical and business teams to ensure solutions meet client needs for product data accuracy, consistency, completeness, and compliance across all touchpoints.Define and prioritize features for data quality management, data governance workflows, taxonomy and classification systems, data syndication, and multi-channel publishing.Champion product data standards, attribute definitions, hierarchies, and data models that support scalable product commercialization processes.Drive integration strategies connecting PIM / MDM platforms with ERP systems, eCommerce platforms, marketplaces, digital channels, and trading partner networks.Own feature prioritization, definition, and delivery—balancing speed and quality in a startup-paced environment.Partner with data science and engineering teams to embed AI / ML capabilities for intelligent data enrichment, automated attribute extraction, and quality validation.Define success metrics and KPIs for data quality, completeness, time-to-market, syndication accuracy, and platform adoption.Champion customer feedback and usage analytics to drive continuous platform improvement and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains.Lead requirements gathering, solution design, and user acceptance testing for new PIM / MDM features and integrations.Stay abreast of industry trends in product information management, master data governance, data syndication, digital shelf analytics, and AI-enabled data management.Support pre-sales activities including product demonstrations, technical solution presentations, and proof-of-concept implementations for enterprise clients.Develop product documentation, training materials, rollout plans, and change management strategies to ensure successful customer adoption.Collaborate with professional services, implementation, and customer success teams to ensure seamless deployment and ongoing support.This role demands a self-starter mindset, the ability to thrive in ambiguity, and a passion for leveraging AI and data management best practices to drive business outcomes at scale.Requirements : Additional Info
