Crossing Hurdles is a global recruitment consultancy partnering with a fast‑growing startup at the intersection of AI, robotics, and biology, building cutting‑edge technology to revolutionize life science research and help scientists accelerate breakthroughs in drug discovery and disease eradication.

Role – Full Stack Engineer (Frontend Leaned)
Location – 5 day per week in San Francisco office
Required Tech Stack – React, TypeScript, Python, SQL
Compensation – $150k - $210k + 0.2-0.6% Equity
Benefits – 401k, Medical and dental insurance, Unlimited PTO, Weekday dinners
Years of Experience – 3+ years of full stack experience

Requirements

3+ years of backend engineering experience at product‑driven tech companies or startups.

Strong in Python, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL with solid system design and API development skills.

Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, in‑person startup environment (5 days / week in San Francisco).

Bonus : Experience or interest in AI, robotics, or generative models.

Build user experiences that spark joy for scientists using our robotic platform.

Build internal tools to manage and support our growing robotic fleet.

Collect feedback from customers and iterate rapidly on product improvements.
