Job Summary The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following :

• Operate coal and ash handling equipment to include but not limited to activities such as set / remove derailers, set / operate hand brakes and overhead chain valves, unload train cars, squat / climb and navigate train cars.
• General cleaning duties utilizing shovels and brooms to maintain cleanliness of work areas, utilize air lances to clean out chutes (overhead and crouched work).
• Walk down equipment and belts, maintain equipment by performing weekly inspection PM's along with lube oil PM's.
• Develop and perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) using "Eclipse" tagging software and program.
• Maintain and cut station grass in designated areas.

The Operating Helper works a 12-hour rotating shift, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Starting pay is $26.21 per hour. This position does not pay relocation costs.
