Position Purpose :

As a Remote Behavioral Health Reviewer, you will authorize, direct, and oversee care for behavioral health issues utilizing clinical information provided by healthcare providers. Your primary responsibilities will include :

  • Conducting peer reviews with psychologists, therapists, and Board Certified Behavior Analysts for outpatient services and psychological testing requests.
  • Educating network practitioners about best practices in utilization management processes.
  • Collaborating with the Medical Director to address clinical authorization questions and concerns.
  • Addressing complaints from state representatives, providers, and members regarding psychological testing and services.
  • Facilitating outpatient rounds to provide clinical insights and oversight related to outpatient services.
  • Completing additional assigned duties and ensuring compliance with all applicable policies and standards.
  • Qualifications :

    A PhD in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Behavior Analysis, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Behavioral Health. Candidates should also possess a solid understanding of psychological testing and evidence-based practices, particularly for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

    Licenses / Certifications :

    Active Psychologist license (PhD or PsyD) is required at the time of hire. Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is preferred.

    Compensation :

    The pay range for this position is $86,000.00 - $154,700.00 per year. Centene provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401K plans, tuition reimbursement, and paid time off, among other perks. Actual compensation will be adjusted based on individual qualifications.
