Role : As a Helper, you'll offer companionship, assist with daily activities, provide light housekeeping, and provide transportation for elderly clients. Your presence helps combat loneliness and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities :

Companionship and monitoring client well-being

Assist with personal care including but not limited to walking assistance, light housekeeping, and meal preparation

Required to know medical and dietary needs of clients and provide medication reminders

Transportation for excursions

Motivate and encourage your client to participate in wellness activities

Clock in / out and process documents related to client visit

Requirements :

Valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and valid auto insurance

Vehicle should be able to accommodate for foldable wheelchairs and walkers

Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Able to assist clients into and out of vehicles.

Reliable communication and promptness through EVV system and / or SMS texting.

Strong interpersonal skills

Caregiver experience preferred

Experience with elderly preferred

Creative and collaborative in identifying additional activities or support clients may need, including companionship and daily assistance.
