- Adhere to ANA Standards of Practice, demonstrating competence through assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care.\n

- Promote health and safety through patient education and environmental health practices.\n

- Manage resources responsibly to maintain effective and safe nursing services.\n\nQualifications\nEducation : Graduation from an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred. Current BCLS certification required within one month of hire.\nExperience : Experience as a Registered Nurse; participation in the SPIRE clinical advancement program encouraged.\nLicensure : Must possess a current RN license in the State of Connecticut. Clinical specialty certification is highly encouraged.\nSpecial Skills : Engaged in ongoing professional development, with a focus on advancing clinical practice.\nPhysical Demands : Requires prolonged standing, walking, and engaging multiple senses. Candidates must be able to assist in lifting and moving patients ranging from five (5) to three hundred (300) pounds and may experience exposure to infectious diseases and stressful situations.\n\nAdditional Information\nThis position is covered by the Connecticut Healthcare Associates Collective Bargaining Agreement.\nOrthopedic RN experience is preferred.
