Warehouse Associate
A globally recognized brand, founded by motorcycle enthusiasts, specializing in high-performance parts and technical gear, is looking to hire a dedicated Warehouse Associate to support our growing global operations and strong community presence.
Job Summary : The Warehouse Associate is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the warehouse. This includes receiving, assembling, storing, and distributing products, as well as ensuring a clean and organized work environment. The role requires attention to detail, efficient inventory management, and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Unload deliveries and check items for accuracy, quality, and condition.
- Record received items into inventory management systems.
- Store items in proper locations to ensure efficient access and organization.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Verify product counts, quality, and labels during packing and shipping processes.
- Assist with the organization of shipping documentation, including tracking numbers and inventory logs.
- Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Update inventory records and report discrepancies to management.
- Ensure proper labeling and categorization of products for easy retrieval.
- Assemble components or products as needed, following detailed instructions to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Assemble and prepare kits, which may include packaging items together or organizing materials into sets for shipment or assembly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the safe operation of warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to management.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or order pickers, safely and efficiently (if required).
- Perform basic maintenance checks on equipment.
- Work closely with other team members to meet operational goals and deadlines.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
Experience :
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred, but not required.Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software is a plus.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to lift and move heavy objects.Familiarity with basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, is preferred.Good communication and teamwork abilities.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent requiredCompensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $19.00 - $19.00 Per Hour
