Document Specialist

Job Summary :

Conducts research and analysis concerning the quality of foods to develop and improve foods by performing the following duties. This position will be responsible for updating, creating, and implementing all BRC documentation for all 3 Henry Broch facilities. This position will also oversee making sure all employees are up to date on BRC training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develops and discriminates documentation for the food safety compliance program.
• Develop food product specifications, certificates and analysis, and other food quality-related documents.
• Helps develop all food safety-related documentation for the production of high-quality food products.
• Ensures that all GMP and Safety standards are in compliance.
• Oversee the review and maintenance of the BRC System (ALL document changes must be approved by the Director of QA).
• Making sure all employee training is up to date for each HB facility
• Making sure all documents and procedures are up to date and in code with BRC version 8 or the most current version.
• Responsible for creating policies, procedures, documents, and forms related to producing dietary supplements in compliance with 21cfr.111.103 & 111.105.
• Reviewing previous audits to make sure all non-conformances are completed.
• Updating and implementing all internal audit programs that pertain to BRC.
• Any other job duties assigned by Managers.
