Job description
  • Evaluate substitute components for FORM, FIT and FUNCTION
  • Be familiar with electrical and electro-mechanical components
  • Enter components in Engineering Database and ERP system
  • Include with entry datasheets and RoHS statements for the component
  • Discuss changes with the Cognizant Engineers
  • Assist in the preparation of ECO release packages
  • Specify, conduct, and direct others to conduct and document tests on electronic items ranging from individual components to moderately complex subsystems, given detailed performance criteria and general supervision from a Cognizant Engineer
  • Communicate well orally and in writing with others with whom he / she works within the Engineering and Operations departments
  • Other tasks and projects assigned by the position's supervisor, superior and company management
