Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain building systems and equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on property systems to ensure safe operations.
Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of property, including both interior and exterior areas.
Conduct maintenance and repairs including, but not limited to :
Painting, drywall, flooring, and minor carpentry.
Plumbing repairs (e.g., clearing stoppages, fixing leaks, restoring water fixtures).
Minor electrical repairs (e.g., replacing ballasts, outlets, switches, and light fixtures).
Minor Landscaping and Exterior Maintenance (e.g. Lawn care, tree trimming, and weeding)
Parking lots and sidewalks maintenance.
Manage and coordinate work orders and requests for repairs, maintenance, and supplies.
Maintain accurate inventory systems, records, files, material safety data sheets (MSDS), tools, and supplies.
Assist with emergency planning and response in coordination with management.
Provide support and interact professionally with participants, staff, and the public.
Participate in ongoing training and continuing education to maintain safety and technical skills.
Perform shift work, including evenings, weekends, and emergency response, as requested.
Requirements :
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or G.E.D. required; some college coursework preferred.
2 - 5 years of experience in property management or facility maintenance.
Strong knowledge of property maintenance requirements across multiple facilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word and Excel.
Ability to analyze work orders, maintain budgets for projects, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to work independently as a project lead and collaboratively as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to set priorities and manage multiple demands.
Professional judgment and discretion when handling assignments.
Ability to operate company vehicles in compliance with traffic and OSHA safety standards.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word and Excel.
Completion of a trade apprenticeship, technical school training, or relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA 10, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, building maintenance).
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. frequently.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, stoop, crouch, kneel, and climb ladders throughout the workday.
This position requires up to 5% travel, limited to transporting the company vehicle for inspections, registration renewals, and approved maintenance (e.g., oil changes, repairs).
