- Event Days : 9 : 30 am–6 : 30 pm (1-hour lunch)
- Occasional Monday / Friday shifts for special events (with advance notice)
Position Overview
As the Front Desk Customer Service Representative at the Energy Education Center in Tulare, you'll be the welcoming face of our facility, ensuring every visitor's experience is positive and memorable. With flexible hours, you'll create a friendly and efficient environment for guests and staff, manage our innovative tool and induction lending libraries by assisting users with checkouts and returns, and support hands-on training sessions and equipment demonstrations by preparing materials and assisting our expert team. You'll also play a key part in keeping our workplace safe, organized, and running smoothly, while providing helpful, on-the-spot support to customers with questions about their billing or energy services. This is a role where your people skills, adaptability, and enthusiasm will shine—making the work both rewarding and enjoyable.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk & Visitor Support
Greet and assist visitors upon arrivalProvide basic technical support for conference and training roomsCommunicate with vendors, customers, and staffProvide general customer serviceMaintain and uphold EEC's mission, values, policies, procedures, and principlesWorkshop & Event Support
Coordinate logistics and set up for workshops and meetingsAssist instructors and internal teams with administrative tasksSupport registration, attendance, and customer inquiriesProvide support to customers before, during, and after workshops and eventsFacilities & Operations
Support building operations and maintenanceOrganize operational documents and support document developmentSubmit facility maintenance requestsOrder and manage suppliesTours and Demo support :
Set up & assist team with equipment demonstrations, tours, and consultations.Assist with scheduling and coordinating toursLending Program Support :
Monitor and assist all reservations for lending programsPrepare and package equipment based on reservationsSupport program pick-up and drop off at the EECKeep accurate loan recordsRequired Qualifications
High School DiplomaMust have MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) experience - basic levelMust also have basic level experience in mail sorting, printing, scanning, schedule appointments, answering phones.Desired Qualifications / Experience
