Location : Seneca, South Carolina (29672) – South Carolina nursing jobs

Unit : Family Birthplace – Labor & Delivery (LDRP with nursery responsibilities)

Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse contract

Contract Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 24 / 2025 – End : 2 / 23 / 2026)

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1820 - $1870

Shift : Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19 : 00 – 07 : 30)

Weekly Hours : 36

Patient Population : Neonates & Adults

Weekend Coverage : Every other weekend

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active South Carolina RN license (or compact state license for travel nurses)

Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience (will consider RNs with at least 1 year of recent L&D experience)

At least 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required

BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, and NRP certifications required

Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)

First-time travel nurses welcome – great opportunity for RNs new to travel healthcare jobs

Preferred : Previous charge nurse experience, community hospital background

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

Provide 1 : 1 care for labor patients, 1 : 2 for cytotec inductions, 1 : 1 for magnesium patients, and 1 : 3 for couplet (mother-baby) care

Deliver care for GYN surgery patients and perform newborn hearing screenings

Float to other qualified clinical units as needed, based on census and staffing requirements

Utilize Panda Warmers and Giraffe incubators for neonatal care

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams : Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, and more

Document all patient care using the EPIC EMR system

Complete pre-assignment testing and required clinical modules prior to start (up to 16 hours reimbursed)
