The ideal candidate is an energetic individual, a team player, and can provide services necessary for the efficient operation of Ameraflex. This is an In-Person position with operating hours of M-F, 8AM-5PM. This position will report directly to the Purchasing Manager.

Job responsibilities include, but or not limited to :

• Run automated purchasing and order all parts / materials needed to fulfill job / stock requirements
• Verify pricing on purchase orders and match confirmations to PO’s
• Update the open PO dashboard on a daily basis
• Expedite all PO’s that are late and / or backordered, updated notes on the dashboard and notify the salesman in necessary
• Responsible for RMA’s when necessary
• Responsible for making sure proper documentation is on file for each vendor for things such as MSDS sheets, RoHS, Conflict Minerals, etc.
• Meet with suppliers both new and current
• Receive quotes from suppliers
• Find new sourcing
• Help in Distribution / Receiving
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education RequirementsHigh School diploma or GED

Minimum of 5+ years' of purchasing experience

Preferred SkillsComputer skills a must, including Excel, and must be able to learn other software programs

Ability to multitask with attention to detail

Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing with vendors and co-workers

Must be able to keep an organized work area

Must be self-motivated

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment dealing with multiple people at one time

Must be punctual and able to work each day

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
