Job description

Overview

Versant, Comcast Corporation’s planned spin-off, is seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Multimedia Content Coordinator to boost our Corporate Digital presence. The role involves ideating fresh concepts, streamlining workflow, and capturing compelling content across brands. You will work with the Communications, Community Impact and Brand Leadership teams to produce videos, still photography, and contribute to a content strategy that engages audiences and grows brand awareness.

The Multimedia Coordinator will capture moments that represent Versant, from behind-the-scenes on location to Community Impact efforts and Versant events, showcasing who we are.

Responsibilities

  • Ideate, shoot and edit high-quality short-form video content for various digital platforms, including live events, planned shoots, and in-the-moment opportunities.
  • Generate innovative ideas aligned with the digital strategy; collaborate on storyboards, art direction, scripting, and overall concept development.
  • Produce a variety of corporate videos for internal and external use (e.g., sizzles, interview-driven tapes, mini docs).
  • Deliver compelling presentations of creative concepts to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Collaborate with Communications and Marketing to develop content opportunities, respond to industry news, and support planning, execution, and optimization of digital content to achieve KPIs (views, engagement, reach, follower growth).
  • Lead and manage projects from inception to completion, solving problems and ensuring timely delivery, even for high-stakes initiatives.
  • Stay updated on latest social media and video production trends and incorporate best practices into content strategy.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in social media and / or digital content production.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proficient in industry-standard software : Photoshop, Premiere, Canva, After Effects, Lightroom; mobile video editing apps.
  • Technical expertise in video production and still photography with understanding of lighting, composition, audio, post-production, and related imaging technology.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Desired Characteristics

  • Strong design, layout, and typographic skills.
  • Fundamental expertise in various social media platforms, algorithms, formats, trends, and engagement strategies.
  • Additional Requirements

  • A digital portfolio is required; applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
  • Hybrid : designated as hybrid, with a minimum of three days per week in the office.
  • This position is eligible for company-sponsored benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and other perks. Salary range : $50,000 - $60,000.
