Digital Marketing Manager
Location : Chicago, IL
Schedule : In office Monday-Thursday. Remote Friday.
Compensation : 110,000-125,000 base + bonus
About the role
Our client in energy and residential services is hiring a Digital Marketing Manager to build and scale a modern search engine marketing program. You will report to the VP of Marketing and Commercial Strategy, create and optimize campaigns, and own performance across brands and locations. This is a hands-on role managing $1M+ in annual Google Ads Search and Performance Max budgets with clear accountability for results.
What you'll do
- Plan, build, and optimize Google Ads campaigns across Search and Performance Max
- Manage budgets, pacing, targeting, creative tests, and ongoing improvements
- Stand up accurate tracking and clear weekly reporting leaders can use
- Partner with Creative on assets and with Sales and Operations on lead flow and quality
- Expand winning tactics across markets while protecting efficiency
Requirements
Most recent 3-4+ years of hands-on search engine marketing experience at a client or agency and proven management of $1M+ in annual Search and Performance Max budgetEnd-to-end campaign creation and optimization within the last 3-4 years in B2B and B2C environmentsDemonstrated expertise in Google Ads (Search, Display, Performance Max) and Meta Ads (Facebook, Instagram) platform managementStrong technical proficiency with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) for campaign tracking and configurationTrack record lowering cost per lead, improving lead quality, and communicating results to leadershipToolbox
Google Ads, GA4, Google Tag Manager. Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics and Zapier is helpful. Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI is a plus.
