Job descriptionPosition Type : Full Time Pay Rate : $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule : Day Time What You'll Do : Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities : Control access to the location by verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises. Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious activity within the manufacturing and industrial environment. Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with access-related inquiries and directions. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and Allied Universal protocols. Maintain accurate logs and reports of access control activities and any incidents that occur during the shift. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe conditions and report any irregularities. Support emergency response activities as required, including following evacuation or lockdown procedures when appropriate. Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and recommend improvements to access control processes. What We're Looking For : Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements : Customer service experience is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
