Infrastructure Architect (Lansing)

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Solutions Architect to support enterprise network upgrades, optimization, and quality assurance. This role involves working closely with engineering teams to design, implement, and maintain a robust and secure network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with enterprise network architecture, automation, security frameworks, and compliance standards, as well as a proven ability to mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security.
• Support and upgrade network management platforms and associated infrastructure components.
• Troubleshoot, maintain and optimize network security and endpoint management solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to remediate security vulnerabilities and implement best practices.
• Provide mentorship and knowledge transfer to junior engineers.
• Work with vendors, product specialists, and research organizations to evaluate and implement best-fit technologies.
• Develop and document infrastructure solutions, ensuring alignment with industry standards and compliance requirements (NIST 800-53, PCI, ITIL).
• Monitor and analyze network performance, troubleshooting issues as needed.
• Assist in the development of disaster recovery plans, security policies, and compliance frameworks.
• Communicate technical concepts to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Prepare reports and presentations on network infrastructure improvements and project status.
