The Integration Cloud Solution Engineer / Architect is a senior, hands-on role dedicated to helping Oracle customers implement best practices and maximize the value of Oracle Cloud solutions. Serving as a client advocate, this role provides deep product expertise and translates business needs into seamless, integrated solutions. Responsibilities include designing and integrating complex IT architectures that align with client objectives, ensuring that systems, applications, and processes work cohesively. As the ultimate authority on solution architecture, the Cloud Integration Architect leads design initiatives and provides strategic direction to address business challenges effectively.
Responsibilities
This hands-on role focuses on assisting Oracle customers in implementing best practices to unlock the full potential of Oracle Cloud solutions. Key responsibilities include supporting CSS customers with PaaS4SaaS implementations, optimizing critical business processes, and ensuring seamless monitoring and regression testing of end-to-end cloud deployments. The role involves leading solution design sessions, enhancing product features, and driving innovation across various Oracle Cloud products. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in integration technologies. Core products include Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS), Oracle Process Cloud (PCS), and Oracle Database. Additionally, as part of the SWAT team, this position plays a crucial role in managing C-level escalations and quickly resolving critical customer business challenges to ensure timely, high-impact solutions.
Qualifications & Experience
Over 10 years of experience in large-scale IT implementations, specifically involving Middleware integration components. 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Oracle SOA Suite. Strong working knowledge of VBCS (Visual Builder Cloud Service) and Process Cloud Service (PCS). Extensive experience designing, developing, and supporting applications across multiple cloud platforms. In-depth understanding of Oracle Fusion Middleware products. Proficient in APEX (Application Express) and ODI (Oracle Data Integrator). Strong background in Oracle Database and PL / SQL development. Experience with Unix and UNIX-like operating systems, including RH Linux and Oracle Linux. Excellent communication skills (both written and oral), capable of handling executive escalations and presenting solutions effectively. Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities. Familiarity with tools and languages such as Python, Terraform, Maven, and Jenkins. Proficient in using REST APIs for system integration. Strong understanding of open-source technologies and cloud services. Self-starter with a passion for staying at the forefront of technological advancements. Adept at handling technical issues, developing action plans, and leading solutions. Willing to travel up to 30% for client visits and internal sessions.
