Job Description The Open Heart Intensive Care Unit (OHICU) is a 10-bed ICU that provides care to critically ill and postoperative cardiothoracic, cardiovascular, and general surgery patients aged 18 years and older. Care includes invasive hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and supporting patients recovering from open heart surgery. Responsibilities Provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting. Use advanced monitoring techniques and equipment for patient management. Administer medications and assist with various procedures as needed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience. Required certifications : ACLS, BLS. Experience with Epic charting system is required.
