Patient Access Specialist

A company is looking for a Patient Access Specialist, Part-time, Days (Remote - Must reside in IL, IN, IA, or WI).

Key Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service and maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations

Collect and verify patient demographic information, schedule appointments, and perform medical necessity checks

Participate in quality assurance reviews and suggest process improvements to enhance operational efficiency

Required Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent

2-3 years of customer service or medical office experience

Proficiency in computer data-entry and basic computer skills

Ability to type 40 words per minute

Customer service orientation and excellent organizational skills
