Job Summary
We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), APRN to join our team in providing care across multiple post-acute care facilities. The role involves commuting between facilities, conducting patient rounds, and collaborating with staff to deliver compassionate, comprehensive psychiatric care.
- Schedule : Full-time, Monday-Friday (1-2 facilities per day)

Primary Functions
Conduct patient examinations and obtain / document medical historiesAdhere to charting and documentation protocolsCollaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop care plansOrder and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging as appropriateDiagnose conditions and communicate findings to patientsPrescribe and manage treatment plans, including medicationsProvide patient education on mental health, wellness, and preventionRefer patients to specialists when neededPerform minor procedures as requiredReport deaths and communicable diseases per state guidelinesPerform additional duties as assignedEducation & Experience
Active and unrestricted Florida APRN licensePMHNP certification requiredCurrent National Board CertificationCurrent DEA licensePost-acute care experience preferredMinimum 1 year of psychiatric experience preferred but not mandatory ( will train motivated candidates )Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong written, verbal, and electronic communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a teamDemonstrated initiative, creativity, and problem-solving abilityEMR experience preferredBilingual (English / Spanish) a plusReporting Structure
