POSITION SUMMARY :
As an RT Clinical Supervisor at Johns Hopkins All Childrens Hospital youll deliver specialized patient-centered respiratory care that is at the forefront of medical innovation. Your work will be guided by evidence-based practices ensuring that every treatment research initiative and educational effort is rooted in the highest standards of care. Youll be a key player in our interprofessional team driving exceptional patient outcomes and contributing to the departments goals through your accountability for compassionate and safe care. By adhering to the rigorous standards set by the Florida Board of Respiratory Care and JHACH policies youll help shape the future of respiratory therapy at one of the nations leading healthcare institutions.
Qualifications :
Education : Bachelors Degree required.
Licensure & Certification : Current Florida Respiratory Therapist Licensure and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
Education Background : Graduate of a Registered Respiratory Therapy Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).
Experience : A minimum of 3 years of experience in neonatal / pediatric critical intensive care.
Certifications :
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification if working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Neonatal / Pediatric Specialist (NPS) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
