Summary :
The Occupational Therapist utilizes professional knowledge and behaviors to evaluate / assess and treat patients with a variety of physical, educational, or psychosocial disabilities.
Responsibilities :
- Utilizes professional knowledge and behaviors to evaluate, assess and treat patients with a variety of physical, educational, or psychosocial disabilities.
- Communicates effectively with patient, family members, and team members as needed.
- Performs appropriate and necessary documentation and patient / family education, per division protocols.
- Supervises COTA / L, volunteer, or student per OT regulations.
- Other duties as required.
Technical Expertise
Experience in pediatric occupational therapy is preferred.Experience working with all levels within an organization is required.Experience in healthcare is preferred.Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required.Education and Experience
Education : Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.Certification : Certification by National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and current Ohio state licensure is required.Years of relevant experience : 3 to 5 years is preferred.Years of experience supervising : None.Status : Onsite
