Radiology - Interventional Physician

Locums - Saginaw, Michigan - Interventional Radiologist Job

Clinical Role :

Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible Interventional Radiologist

Coverage Dates : December 25-30, 2025

Schedule : 8a-5p inpatient consults, outpatient clinic visits, and procedures; call from 5p-8a

Work Setting :

60% outpatient / 40% inpatient

Clinic visits, inpatient consults, and both inpatient / outpatient procedures (e.g. paras, thoras)

Trauma and emergency call coverage

Procedures / Caseload :

9-10 procedures per day (IP + OP)

Includes biopsies, kyphoplasty, port placements, paracentesis, thoracentesis, etc.

Clinical Support :

3 full-time APPs (perform procedures, manage IP consults) - locum will supervise

Supervising physicians onsite

EMR Systems : Athena (clinic)

Sunrise Allscripts (hospital)

Requirements :

Board certification or eligibility in Vascular & Interventional Radiology

ACLS and BLS (AHA required)

50 cases in past 12 months (or fellowship training log for new grads)

Must complete 5 proctored cases

Experience in general invasive IR procedures

Licensing :

Will consider IMLC candidates

Open to waiting for license if needed

Credentialing :

Approx. 30 days (prioritized by start date)
