We seek an optical engineer with a strong working understanding of optical analysis, alignment, and testing to contribute to the development and integration of complex optical systems. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and can interpret high level direction to practical requirement and deliverables.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Contribute to design, modeling, integration, and testing of advanced electro-optical systems.
• Perform parametric studies and analyses to support design decisions.
• Develop alignment and test procedures.
• Independently perform hands-on optical alignment, assembly, and precision testing.
• Develop scripts and algorithms to capture and process test data (MATLAB, Python).
• Utilize optical design software (Zemax, Code V, or equivalent) for conceptual and detailed optical system design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (opto-mechanics, scientists, mechanisms, algorithms) to develop optical solutions.
• Contribute to technical reports and briefings.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, program security requirements, and safe laboratory practices.
