Job descriptionNassau University Medical Center | East Meadow, NY 10 ORs | 533 beds | L1 Trauma | OB Approximate case volumes : 8,200 annual cases 1,300 trauma cases > 1,350 ortho cases 100 neurological cases 1,200 OB deliveries No hearts, healthy pediatrics Care team model Collaborative practice with an inviting work style Active state license ACLS | PALS | BLS NuHealth System, Nassau University Medical Center (NUMC) is the region s premier Level I trauma center and a well-regarded teaching hospital. Nassau University Medical Center, a 530-bed tertiary care teaching hospital and Level I Trauma Center, has been a pillar of the community for 85 years. Of those years, 60 have been dedicated to medical education. With 10 ORs, NUMC has extensive medical and surgical capabilities. In addition to its affiliation with the growing Northwell Health System, it is creating onsite partnerships with some of the region s top specialists. The hospital provides a wide range of medical and surgical services and treats some of the area s most critically ill patients.
