We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to conduct home visits for patients with respiratory conditions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, treating, and managing patients' respiratory care needs in a home setting. This role offers the opportunity to provide personalized care and make a significant impact on patients' quality of life.
Responsibilities:
Conduct home visits to assess and monitor patients with respiratory conditions.
Administer prescribed respiratory treatments and therapies (e.g., oxygen therapy, nebulizers, CPAP/BiPAP).
Educate patients and their families about proper respiratory care and equipment usage.
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers.
Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatments as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Provide emergency respiratory care as necessary.
Ensure patient safety and proper use of respiratory equipment.
Requirements:
Valid Respiratory Therapist (RT) license and certification (RRT or CRT).
Previous experience in home healthcare or clinical respiratory therapy is preferred.
Knowledge of respiratory diseases, treatments, and medical equipment.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to patients' homes.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification preferred.
Flexibility to work weekends or evenings, as needed.
