Grocery Store Co-Manager Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional guest satisfactionwith heavy emphasis on courtesy, fast service, and front-end excellence
- Support Store Managers and the Store Director in building a strong, sales-driven culture
- Assist with staffing, scheduling, forecasting labor needs, and managing labor to meet budgeted goals
- Conduct weekly manager audits covering front-end operations, DSD receiving, and pricing accuracy
- Manage grocery inventory to achieve shrink results
- Monitor store conditions through frequent, detailed store walks and respond quickly to opportunities
- Provide ongoing communication with Store Managers, Field Merchandisers, and store hosts to keep everyone aligned and informed
Grocery Store Co-Manager Requirements
Minimum of 3 years in a grocery store leadership roleA proven leader with a passion for retail, operations, and guest serviceStrong financial acumen with experience managing labor, inventory, shrink, and other variable expensesDetail-oriented operator who thrives in a fast-paced environmentA coach at heartcommitted to developing others and fostering a positive, enthusiastic, guest-focused cultureDrive and ambition to grow into a Senior Co-Manager role and continue advancing within the companyGrocery Store Co-Manager Benefits
