This unique position offers the chance to make a significant impact while enjoying a call-only schedule : Focused Inpatient Call : Provide essential after-hours call coverage for inpatients with cardiovascular conditions, managing an average of 10-15 patients per shift. Weekend shifts begin at 5 : 00 pm on Friday and conclude at 8 : 00 am on Monday. Collaboration is Key : Work alongside a team of cardiologists, hospitalists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Streamlined Workflow : Utilize the familiar Epic electronic medical record system for documentation and patient management. Temporary Commitment : This locum tenens position offers flexibility, with the opportunity to cover ongoing weekend call needs. We Value Your Expertise : We are seeking a board-certified Cardiologist who possesses a valid medical license in Illinois or an Interstate Medical License Compact (IMLC) license (for future dates where no emergency privileges are required).
