Managing Consultant, Sediment Investigation & Remediation Engineering

Overview

ERM is seeking a highly motivated Managing Consultant, Engineer (Sediment Investigation & Remediation Engineering) to join our Sediment Site Investigation and Remediation Management (SI / RM) service team. This position can be based from a local ERM office or fully remote if 100 miles away from an ERM office. The ideal candidate brings extensive sediment engineering consulting and project management experience, providing technical leadership and innovative approaches that support and grow ERM's sediment SI / RM practice. Our practice covers every stage of the contaminated site lifecycle : site investigation, risk assessment, feasibility study, remedial design, remedy implementation, and performance monitoring, utilizing cutting-edge digital tools and data analytics throughout.

Responsibilities

• Manage sediment site investigation and remediation projects, overseeing multi-person project teams to deliver results within scope, budget, and schedule expectations while ensuring high standards for quality.
• Collaborate with ERM global professionals to execute sediment site investigation and remediation projects, working with SI / RM experts from various offices worldwide.
• Provide leadership in staff performance management, recruitment, retention, and mentoring to foster the team's overall success.
• Contribute to the expansion of ERM's SI / RM services through identifying and developing new opportunities, preparing proposals, and establishing new business with clients.
• Leverage existing client relationships to enhance ERM's profile within the SI / RM market through excellent technical delivery and proactive business development.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of ERM’s other consulting services to actively support cross-selling opportunities to current clients.
