As a Security Officer - Unarmed Post - Overnight Shift in Zeeland, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food / Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment. Your presence and attention to detail will help maintain a secure setting for employees and visitors. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. You will also provide outstanding customer service and clear communication, reflecting Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access within the food and beverage environment.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist employees, visitors, and contractors with directions and information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Follow all company and client protocols while on duty, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
