Summary
The Senior Manager - Parts Logistics (HoT) will be responsible for the leadership over the AS parts distribution to / from dealers (including EV Battery programs), Consolidation Center business, and Knock Down Parts Services. They will also be responsible for planning and management of the services in the GUS portfolio. The Senior Manager will build, establish, and lead the team to ensure that GUS meets the service objectives. The HoT and the team will support business development activities.
Compensation : $118,000-$134,000 / Per Year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)
Responsibilities
- Initiate reviews and set strategy for internal and external business objectives
- Oversee the initiations of reviews, complete internal and external analyses, set and procurement strategy, and be the point person for all strategy implementation and planning
- Work cross functionally with various internal and external departments / teams, as well as with HQ, local suppliers, and customers
- Provide overall leadership, management, accountability, and direction to all team members in Parts Logistics towards the accomplishment of corporate goals and objectives
- Lead the team in developing, analyzing, and maintaining the strategic inventory, demand, sales, and supplier metrics in support of strategic business
- Lead weekly and / or monthly forecasting process
- Oversee in daily operations activities including problem resolution and developing processes
- Provide regular daily, weekly, and monthly reports measuring team performance against objectives / plan
- Perform analysis and prepare recommendations / countermeasures when performance does not meet objectives or at the request of executive management and customers
- Ensure that team operating procedures, processes, and manuals are relevant and up to date
- Support business development
- Support and drive initiation of business development for the distribution department
- Review industry trends, opportunities, and customers that may be match for GUS services
- Make recommendations for targeting new business
- Support potential business opportunities brought forward in the AOR
- Oversee reporting at the request of coordinators and executive management
- Participate in software development and / or system improvements as related to parts distribution
- Maintain open dialogue with other department to coordinate activities and improve performance and productivity
- Other duties as assigned
