Job descriptionExperience deploying Python applications in cloud service production environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) using Docker and Kubernetes. Strong understanding and application of software engineering best practices, including version control, code reviews, and CI / CD pipelines. Proficiency in data science best practices – data pipelining, feature engineering, machine learning model creation. Familiarity with cloud‑based data science services and managed AI / ML platforms. 8+ years of IT experience. 8+ years of PL / SQL development experience. Experience with UNIX and Windows Server. Hands‑on experience with Oracle, Java (Spring), PL / SQL, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, JSON, SQL Developer, JDeveloper, Shell Scripting, Linux. Expertise in creating and maintaining complex PL / SQL code / packages across multiple schemas. Direct customer interaction to resolve issues and identify new requirements. Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle. Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Excellent communication, time management and multitasking abilities. Willingness to continuously learn and acquire new knowledge. Experience in managing or overseeing direct reporting resources. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, with 10+ years of experience (or commensurate experience). Pass client‑mandated clearance including drug screening, criminal history check, and credit check. Drug screening results required after interview; failure will delay security clearance. Continuation of employment requires full security clearance after interim stage. All candidates must be US citizens or permanent residents (Green Card). Candidate must have lived in the US for the past 5 years. Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the US in the last five years.

Join PlanIT Group, LLC as a Senior Java PL / SQL Developer / AI. We are seeking a senior-level technical or business area expert to provide state-of-the-art software and hardware solutions, manage enterprise improvement goals, design technical and business solutions, mentor client staff, and oversee implementations.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain web pages using Oracle PL / SQL packages.
- Maintain existing applications and enhance the system per client requirements.
- Show extensive Oracle database experience.
- Modify existing batches to incorporate new functionalities.
- Write UNIX Shell scripts.
- Analyze system issues and devise and execute remediation plans.
- Perform code reviews and bug fixing.
- Conduct performance tuning of existing queries and packages.
- Ensure compliance with required standards and processes.
- Provide complete technical and maintenance support to the systems.
- Work solo as well as in a team on assigned projects.
- Provide 24 / 7 support as needed.
- Utilize AI‑assisted development tools for enhanced productivity.
