Exciting Opportunity : Part-Time Breast Surgeon at Salisbury VA Health Care System. The Salisbury VA Health Care System is seeking a dedicated, part-time, board-certified Breast Surgeon to join our team. We aim to care for over 15,000 female veterans at this location and contribute to program development for VISN at a national level.

Administrative Duties

• Attend staff meetings, maintain clear communication, and prepare briefs on adverse outcomes.
• Oversee clinic operations, documentation, productivity, performance measures, quality, safety, and process improvements.

Requirements

U.S. Citizenship : Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is impossible to recruit qualified citizens, in accordance with VA Policy.

Education : A Doctor of Medicine degree or an equivalent degree in allopathic or osteopathic medicine is required.

Licensure : Candidates must possess a current, complete, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a state, territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.

Residency : Completion of a residency program in an accredited core specialty

Board Certification : Candidates must be board-certified or board eligible.
