Director, Patient Care Services Registered Nurse

The Director, Patient Care Services Registered Nurse leads, directs, and manages high-performance teams with accountability for operations, quality, customer service, and overall success of assigned departments and product lines. Areas of responsibility include high-volume, strategically significant medical / surgical nursing units, along with oversight of several smaller nursing departments that directly impact hospital operations and patient experience. This role carries significant strategic and financial impact on the current and future success of Sentara Hospitals. The Director ensures operational excellence, quality outcomes, and patient-centered care while fostering engagement and professional growth among team members.

Education

Bachelors Degree in Nursing (Required)

Certification / Licensure

• Active RN license in state of practice or compact / multi state license (Required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.
