CNA Per Diem

The Caswood group is hiring CNAs for various contract positions with the potential to extend.

This position is for a CNA in a Assisted Living Facility in Waterloo. Candidate must live 30 miles outside of Waterloo, NY.

Certified Nursing Assistant Requirements :

• Per Diem Two 8 hour weekend shifts per month required
• 1 summer holiday required, 1 winter holiday required
• 24 hours within a 4 week schedule 2 of those shifts will be required to be on a weekend. Must be full 8h shifts when working. Holidays Required
• NYS Nursing Assistant Certification -Must be licensed for 1 year
• One (1) Year of previous LTC experience
• Must have High School Diploma or GE
• Must live 30 miles out of facility
• MUST be able to be on assignment until 1 / 19
• CNA Job Functions : "24 hours within a 4 week schedule
• 2 of those shifts will be required to be on a weekend.
• Must be full 8h shifts when working. Holidays Required

Under the direction of the licensed nursing personnel, performs direct and indirect designated resident care within the scope of practice as defined by the certification. The Certified Nurse Assistant must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his or her age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed by adult and geriatric patient group.

Job Functions :

Occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens is reasonably anticipated. Required tasks involve potential contact with blood, body fluids, or tissues.
