American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience for a night shift role requiring ARRT (CT), BLS, and Epic EMR proficiency.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in an acute care setting as part of the CT imaging teamPatient population includes both adults and pediatrics for general CT exams; IR procedures are performed on adults onlyNight shift schedule with 10-hour shifts from 9 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM, Wednesday through SaturdayNo weekend or holiday shifts requiredNo call responsibilitiesTwo CT technologists work inpatient, and one technologist covers outpatient during shiftsEquipment used includes Canon / Toshiba and Fuji Synaps systemsEpic EMR is used for charting and documentationPerform all routine CT imaging studies for both adult and pediatric patientsThere is no lead tech; supervision is provided by the radiology managerFacility will not provide a radiation badge; traveler must obtain this through their agencyA current, unexpired driver’s license must be provided for considerationCandidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility; local travelers are not eligibleFormer employees and travelers must have a 2-year break from WVU facilities before returningMust be able to work within a team-based environment alongside at least one other technologistOrientation length varies by modality but is typically up to 2 weeksBlack scrubs are required attire for all techs\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 2 years recent CT technologist experienceActive ARRT certification with CT preferredCurrent BLS certification from AHA requiredMust have or obtain a valid state radiologic technologist license where applicableExperience with Epic EMR preferredAbility to start IVs is requiredMust wear black scrubs while on dutyRadiation badge must be provided by the traveler’s agency\n Benefits\n
