Florida Licensed Helpline Counselor

A company is looking for a Florida-Based Helpline Counselor.

Key Responsibilities

Provide crisis / suicide intervention services and conduct basic needs / safety assessments

Offer information, community service referrals, and supportive listening via phone or virtual chat

Participate in initial training and ongoing development to enhance crisis counseling skills

Required Qualifications

Must be a Florida resident

Minimum of an associate's degree from an accredited university

Four years of combined education and relevant work experience, or specific degree and experience in crisis intervention

Ability to pass a level two DCF background screening and a drug test

Minimum typing speed of 30 WPM
