As an IT Systems Administrator, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise IT infrastructure that supports both corporate operations and advanced robotics systems. You will serve as the technical escalation point for complex system issues, lead strategic infrastructure projects, and develop automation solutions to streamline operations. This role requires balancing hands-on technical expertise with strategic planning, ensuring that IT systems are secure, scalable, and reliable. You will collaborate across teams to support identity management, cybersecurity, cloud platforms, and high-availability architectures, enabling the organization to grow efficiently while maintaining operational resilience. Your contributions will directly impact the success of a cutting-edge robotics and technology environment.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will be responsible for :

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise IT infrastructure including servers, networks, cloud platforms, and security systems.
  • Serving as an escalation point for complex technical issues, performing root cause analysis and advanced troubleshooting.
  • Implementing and maintaining identity management systems, SSO solutions, and directory services.
  • Leading major IT projects, including system migrations, infrastructure upgrades, and security enhancements.
  • Developing no-code automation solutions to reduce manual work and improve operational efficiency.
  • Designing disaster recovery and business continuity plans for critical IT systems.
  • Collaborating with security teams to implement advanced cybersecurity measures and compliance frameworks.
  • Monitoring system performance, capacity planning, and proactively resolving potential issues.
  • Mentoring junior IT staff and providing guidance on complex implementations.
  • Supporting specialized systems required for robotics operations and documenting architectural decisions and operational procedures.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have :

  • 5+ years of experience in IT Systems Administration, IT Infrastructure Engineering, or DevOps roles.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Windows, Linux, and macOS systems.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols, VPNs, firewalls, and network security.
  • Experience with enterprise identity management, SSO, and directory services.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Experience in startup or fast-growing technical environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Preferred qualifications include certifications such as CISSP, MCSE, Okta Certified, or Apple ACMT.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash), high-availability architectures, and backup / disaster recovery solutions.
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks like SOC2, ISO 27001, GDPR, CCPA, and NIST 63-B.
  • Interest or experience in robotics, IoT, or edge computing environments.
