Job description

Title : Senior Network Engineer (Tech Lead, but not supervisor or manager)

Type : Contract-to-Hire

Location : Ft. Collins / Loveland / Longmont : 80% Remote; however, will have to travel 20% Ft Collins, Longmont, Loveland, etc. (mileage reimbursed)

Duration : 3-6 months

Start : ASAP

Rate : 52 - 66 / hr

Responsibilities or Requirements :

  • 8-10 years' experience
  • Must understand and use Cisco routing protocols EIGRP, OSPF and BGP and Layer 3 switching
  • Must be able to deploy and troubleshoot Cisco Wireless networking
  • Must have experience with hands-on installation and repair of network hardware
  • Must have experience using WAN types MPLS, MOE technology, Optical Wave, etc.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willingness to get flu shot

Preferences :

  • Prefer additional experience in at least two of the following :
  • Adds, changes , deletes and troubleshooting of Cisco ACI datacenter solutions
  • Adds, changes , deletes of Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama for user and / or Site-to-Site VPN
  • Cisco Meraki deployment and troubleshooting
  • Use of Cisco Client management
  • Experience supporting either Cisco Catalyst Center and / or SolarWinds Device Management
  • Optical Networking using Cisco ONS Platform
