Job description

At Mynt Dental , we pride ourselves on providing exceptional dental care in a comfortable and friendly environment. Our team is dedicated to ensuring the best patient experience and we are looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our growing practice.

In your role as a Dental Hygienist, you'll be pivotal in crafting exceptional hygiene experiences for our patients. Your influence will extend to nurturing our unique workplace culture, showcasing professionalism and positivity across our dynamic team.

Compensation :

From $51 / hour
Un-Capped incentive plan / bonus
$5,000 Sign-on Bonus (for those at least 3 days / week)

Responsibilities :

Engage in the delivery of direct patient care, specializing in all periodontal services within your licensed scope.

Support the dentist during patient examinations, assisting chairside.

Strive to deliver a 10-star patient experience, setting a high standard in patient care.

Actively contribute to fostering a positive, engaging work culture.

Prepare instruments and materials required for each patient's procedures.

Ensure patient comfort in the dental chair, preparing them efficiently for treatments.

Educate patients on pre- and post-treatment care, emphasizing the importance of oral health.

Skilled in capturing dental radiographs, intra-oral scans, and photographs.

Maintain comprehensive treatment records, including charting of existing restorations, periodontal charting, and outlining planned treatments.

Oversee and manage daily supply levels, ensuring timely restocking as needed.

Provide detailed post-operative care instructions to patients, aiding in their recovery following periodontal and other dental treatments.

Adhere strictly to infection control standards, including the sterilization of instruments, equipment, and treatment areas.

Education and Experience :

Possession of a High School Diploma or an equivalent qualification.

Graduation from an accredited program with a Registered Dental Hygiene degree.

Active licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist within the state of Illinois.
