Marketing Manager, Global Outreach

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Associate to support our marketing initiatives for a global audience. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys cross-cultural collaboration, and is passionate about science communication.

This role is a critical role in driving membership engagement on the ACS society marketing team.

Base pay range

$60,000.00 / yr - $65,000.00 / yr

Responsibilities

• Partner with Membership, C&EN and ACSi to execute campaigns aimed at reaching international audiences in key targeted regions and growing ACS’s global presence.
• In partnership with Society Programs and the Events teams, assist in the planning of how ACS shows up at conferences and meetings across the globe.
• In partnership with the Inclusion & Belonging team, develop marketing content for our partner organizations and promote accessible science work.
• Support the Audience Engagement and Government Affairs Teams with campaigns to elevate the reputation of science and advance ACS’ advocacy efforts through the deployment of high quality, accessible scientific content.

Location and schedule

This role is based in our Washington, DC office. ACS Communications / Marketing employees work a hybrid schedule, consisting of working onsite two days (Tue / Wed) per work week, as decided by functional area. The balance of the week is open to working remotely, though employees are always welcome onsite each day if they choose.

Compensation and benefits

A reasonable rate of compensation for this position is between $60,000-65,000 annually. ACS provides benefits including paid vacation leave, paid sick leave, paid holidays, health insurance, flexible spending account or health care savings account, dental insurance, life insurance, vision insurance, retirement benefits, short- and long-term disability, and 4-week work from anywhere; each benefit is subject to the terms of the applicable program. Additional benefits may apply based on skills, experience, and location.
