Job Description

We are searching for a Warehouse Manager to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for training and development of warehouse staff, efficiency of warehouse operations and overall divisional warehouse functions.

Responsibilities Include:

• Responsible for recommendations and execution of procedures involving shipping, receiving, inventory and all aspects of warehouse procedures, including communication with purchasing and sales.
• Institute, support and enforce safety programs and guidelines.
• Select, train, direct and motivate employees.
• Appraise performance and recommend salary actions.
• Direct day and night warehouse crew and delivery drivers through Lead personnel.
• Schedule and insure accurate receiving and put away of stock.
• Insure delivery trucks are safely and accurately loaded.
• Insure drivers demonstrate outstanding customer service and safe working and driving habits.
• Insure all DOT rules and regulations are strictly enforced.
• Responsible for maintaining safe working conditions in warehouse, including safe storage of hazardous products.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Prior management experience (distribution and warehousing environment preferred).
• Experience with ERP and Microsoft Applications
• Previous Prophet21 experience is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical skills with a good to excellent proficiency level in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Must be able to obtain a forklift license (Brady to provide training).
• Bachelor's degree preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift up to 50lbs.
